Saturday at 1 PM: There will be two tracks, Beginner and Advanced.
The Beginner track will assume little or no Cocoa programming experience, so bring yourself, your laptop, and an interest in learning how to make the iPhone do what you want.
The Advanced track will continue to work on its GameShow app--or if they like, some other app. A good way to tell if you should consider the Advanced track is if you know why
@property (nonatomic, assign) UILabel *myLabel;
is not the correct property attribute for a UILabel. For a hint, look here. And if you don’t know it, but want to find out the difference between “assign” and “retain”, and what all of this means, then you should be in this track.
Leading this track will be two individuals who have helped put Austin on the iPhone map.
Jason Moore is the founder of Orange Petal, the make of Reflections, an iPhone app that brings Flickr to you phone like no other.
Jonathan Johnson is an experienced iPhone programmer and founding programmer of AppCubby.
Saturday at 5:30 PM: Post-DevCamp Dinner at Nuevo Leon Méxican restaurant.
This will be a mini-iPhoneDevCamp, so it’s only going to be for a half a day. But that half-day will be an intense one. We are going to code, talk about code, and recode.
